Webkit2png how I love You

I’ve been researching over the past few weeks the best way to create screenshots of webpages for Kwoosh and webkit2png is simply amazing.

I first started off trying to get khtml2png working on my linux server with no avail (compile issues with the X system - and seemed like far too much effort to get working correctly). Then being a bit of a Mac fan boy I looked into one of my favorite Mac apps Paparazzi to see if there was an API and came across webkit2png (which Paparazzi is based on).

webkit2png is a python script that makes use of the webkit framework available in OS X (it’s the rendering engine behind Safari) and makes it simple to create beautiful looking screenshots from the command line.
